9 Mistakes That Can Halt Your Personal Growth

9 Mistakes That Can Halt Your Personal Growth

When you try to grow, it is very easy to fall more than once and make you hurt yourself on the way to success, happiness, and all the things you want to achieve. Obviously there are some holes in you should pay attention and be careful of course.

Below is a nine errors that often do when you're developing. I have been doing these mistakes. Even more than once.

With my sharing this, I hope I hope you do not fall into the same hole as I experienced.

Now let us discuss nine such errors:

1. Thinking That You Know Has Everything

This is a big problem and can stop your self-development for a long time. Thoughts like: "I understand how things work in this world. I do not need a salesman was to improve the quality of my life. They do not have anything new that they can offer. Only desperate people who need the book. It's just a matter of self-awareness course. "

Thoughts and attitudes of this kind will make you difficult to develop. When you read self-improvement books from authors such as Anthony Robbins, Brian Tracy or Stephen Covey, you will realize quickly that the best advice they give is not entirely related to self-awareness. In fact, often the advice they give opposite of the truth that so far we have received from palajaran lessons in schools, media and other people around us.

2. Distracted by things Who's Trends

Mindset as the first point above is not entirely wrong. There are a lot of salesmen who offer you a lot of things on out there. And because the writer or the most successful motivational speakers to understand how to communicate, there are plenty of high-pressure sales techniques that you may earn by reading marketing books. Techniques such as offering small gifts and free for consumers, or by saying that there are only 500 units with similar products and this offer is only valid one week.

But despite some marketing techniques seem very optimistic or tend to be aggressive, it does not mean the product being offered does not have value. Distinguish between sales techniques with a product that ditawarakan.

In my opinion, start with brands or products that have good reviews. Do a little research via google and find information about that product.

3. Not Taking Action

Think that by reading books or blogs will change your life automatically is wrong thinking. Knowledge without actions will not yield any. And only you can change yourself. Others can give you advice, support, and motivation. But in the end, you must take action.

If you experience any problems with taking action, often this is caused by fear, you will need to visit my site: www.menggapai-impian.com

4. Surrender

When you experience failure first, second or third, you usually think "This does not mean anything. This is myself and I can not be changed. I had to familiarize myself thinking that I really like it. "
Do not give up. One or five or 20 failures will not matter in the long term. You have to fail so that you master something and grow.

5. Worried about or listened to other people

You may be afraid that people will react negatively to the changes you are doing, and they do tend to do so. Perhaps they do so because they are worried you will be away from them and will miss you forever. Or maybe they do not want you to change because change will make them feel still in place. They may also give you a negative opinion of your self-development; that everything you do is futile, a waste of time and real life is very different than what is written in the book.

If you're at a stalemate, this is probably because you feel you will need the approval of others and you must begin to break away from the influence of these people. If not, you will forever live in the shadow of others and you will never grow.

6. Experimenting With Your
Own Ways

Experiment with your self-development materials; not commit to study or practice and develop consistently as part of your daily life. Maybe you feel your changes are you trying to do too difficult, or not feasible for you to do, so you are not committed to do so.

Is it hard making these changes? Sometimes yes. However I feel that growth has more positive than negative value, and I think that from the viewpoint of ordinary people - people who have not followed any self development program - impressed that people who are trying to make themselves look more development work, spend more money and time than if you look from the side of people trying to make the changes. The hard work is not something that is difficult if you feel you are developing and liking what you are doing.

Are these changes feasible? Obviously these changes better than other alternatives; just running to and fro every day and filled with anger, stress and lack of self-esteem.
The key to all things in life are consistency and patience. Commit to your self development.

7. Cogent Not Own Expectations

This may occur because of lack of information. Sometimes in the amount of information quality and information you have. When you first start, you may feel that just by reading a book will solve all your problems. Do not have a clear picture of what you may earn will make you disappointed and like a loser with no good reason, until you finally give up.

One method I use to remove myself from this condition is to develop the habit of "eating" motivational material at any time, whether in the form of books, blogs or audio CD. I built my own small library and filled with self-development materials.

Listening back to a CD owned by Andrie Wongso for example, not only makes me more motivated, but also provides me with a solution to my problem. These habits - combined with the action - will clarify things that you want, what is the best method for you and all the opportunities and restrictions in the development of your self.

8. Failure To Or Not Wanting To Understand Yourself

To change yourself, you must understand the processes going on inside you. How do your emotions at work, your ego at work, how the experience of the past and you can influence your habits. And what you can do about these things. How you can help yourself. Even if you try to change parts of yourself that you really want to change.

So in my opinion, do not just stick to one teacher and one mind. Read books or listen to other materials that come from renowned authors to broaden your horizon and gives you some solutions to your problems.

Try to be more introspective, aware of the process that happens inside you when you become angry, depressed, jealous or envious.
Try to act differently than you usually do.

Instead of taking action as usual you do, practice what you've learned to deal with your habit. If you fail - just as with most people, paculah keep yourself - take time to analyze why you feel or do something negative.

If you do not have control over your actions, will be very difficult to help yourself and others. You will find solutions that are not effective, become discouraged, and eventually stopped to continue to grow.

9. Not Taking Responsibility For Yourself

This is extremely important.
Do not blame others. You who may make such changes.

That's the 9 things that can inhibit the development of your self and I am sure there are many other things ha. But I would add the other items on another occasion.
